GENICON VP of Operations speaks at ASQ Meeting

On February 22, Derrell James addressed section 1509 of the American Society for Quality at the Dubsdread Country Club. The presentation, titled “From MultiNational to Start-Up: Lean Transformation for Any Business” discussed the power of integrating Lean “technical” skills with Lean “social” skills and their ability to transform any organization. By characterizing the behaviors of successful and unsuccessful leaders of large, medium, and small companies, a pattern emerges that demonstrated that the ability to engage the workforce at both the technical and personal level is where real value is created. The presentation covered the combination of necessary skills for maximum benefit, and included examples of real, tangible, measurable benefits.
